Aberdeen, however, have won all five of their league fixtures so far this season. In all competitions, they’re 10 from 10 under new manager Jimmy Thelin.
On top of this, the Dons, who last won the Scottish title back in 1985 when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge, are playing a brand of modern, exciting football that isn’t so common outside the Old Firm.
At time a time when many believe clubs like Aberdeen are being left behind, Thelin is setting a new precedent. Scottish football needs him to succeed.
