Roberto Mancini has a new job across the border from his last one.

A year after being fired as Saudi Arabia manager, the Italian has been hired by Al-Sadd. Having been linked with Nottingham Forest last month, Mancini has instead taken over the Qatari champions.

Roberto Firmino made the same journey in July, joining Al-Sadd from Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League. Qatari clubs are spending more - €75m on transfer fees alone in the summer transfer window, to be exact.
