Four hours and 36 minutes after kick-off, the longest match in Ukrainian league history finally ended.

Thatโ€™s how long it took Dnipro and FC Oleksandriya to complete a Ukrainian Premier League fixture last November due to a series of air-raid sirens that stopped play.ย

20% off for 12 months

It surpassed the previous record of four hours and 27 minutes set by FC Rukh and FC Metalist - also due to air-raid sirens. This is the reality of playing football in Ukraine as Russia continues its illegal invasion of the country.
