The Zebras have qualified for AFCON for only the second time ever!

Only once before had Botswana qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations.

That was in 2012 when they finished with the worst record of any team at the tournament, losing all three group matches. And yet until this year, fans saw this Zebras side as a golden generation.

Now back at AFCON, which kicks off in Morocco this weekend, Botswana have an opportunity to surpass all previous achievements.

They have an opportunity to be the underdog that makes the biggest impact at African football’s biggest and most prestigious tournament.
